The modular Cool Tool boring bar heads with DM-40 interface are unique in their design. Like our turning tools, the heads with negative inserts are internally cooled through their clamp. In addition, the heads have a nozzle in the front that sprays from below along the cutting edge to blow away the chips and cool the cutting edge optimally.
