Quick change cartridge for turning insert CN__1606 

The Smart cartridges are designed to provide maximum stability even on small machines. At the same time we save storage space and budget. The Smart cartridges are characterized by an absolute simple handling, dimensional accuracy and stiffness. The complete cartridge can be changed with just one screw and the correction values remain the same. Only the tolerance of the indexable insert has to be corrected here. It is therefore possible to change from a CNMG120408 to a VCMT160408 without correcting because the correction value of the cartridge is the same. Exceptions are larger inserts like CNMG16…, CNMG19… and ER22.
